What this site does

The site serves a Windows 95-style portfolio, direct portfolio links, a contact form, optional news headlines, optional live chat, and embedded third-party games or tools.

Contact form processing

Messages sent through the contact form are submitted to Formspree so they can be delivered without exposing private email credentials in the browser. Formspree receives the contents you submit in order to process and forward your message.

News headlines

The news panel uses a server-side proxy that requests technology headlines from the configured provider. The browser does not receive the upstream API credential. Requests are validated, rate-limited, cached, and returned in a normalized format.

Live chat and WebSocket traffic

The MSN-style chat client connects only when you open that application. If chat is available, the site exchanges chat messages and presence information with the configured backend over a secure WebSocket connection and a same-origin history endpoint.

Local storage and preferences

The desktop experience stores interface preferences in your browser, such as icon positions, wallpaper choices, chat display preferences, and other local UI state. These values stay in your browser unless you clear them.

Cookies and analytics

This refactored version does not rely on Google Analytics or a similar analytics product. Standard server logs may still be generated by the hosting platform for security and operations.

Embedded third-party content

Some applications open or embed third-party sites, games, or tools. When you use those features, the third party may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and requested page.

External links

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Medium, Amazon, Safe Corner of the Web, and other destinations take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and choices

Message retention, chat retention, and operational log retention depend on the services that process those requests. You can avoid optional features by not opening chat, not using the news panel, and not submitting the contact form.
